Troy Hornsby


Troy Hornsby became affiliated with the firm in 1995. He obtained his Board Certification in Civil Appellate Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2004. He has been involved in over 500 appellate proceedings, including civil appeals, criminal appeals, and original proceedings in Texas, Arkansas, and the Federal appellate courts. This has resulted in over 120 published legal opinions. These have included appeals, petitions for review, petitions for discretionary review, writs of error, writs of mandamus, writs of habeas corpus, Anders briefs, and capital murder appeals. He was designated a Texas “Super Lawyer” in 2013 – 2016 and 2019 – 2023 by Thomson Reuters, published in Texas Monthly.
